You should be able to go under messages then text. There should be an option to edit your folders. Mine shows up even if I deleted them. Mine shows sent and received.
Good luck. You may want to pull up your account info on line at your provider%26#39;s Website. you can look it up on ur phone If you have T-Mobile it%26#39;s #674# SEND. If you have someone else it depends on there setup for checking usages.
