for the human eye, you only need 24 fps. i don%26#39;t know how much fps a mobile can produce but i%26#39;ve got an N90 and a Happy Tree Friends episode runs at 25 - 28 fps i think, lagging at most graphical points of course.

Out of these i would go with either the samsung or the lg which comes in three different colors. A tri-band phone such as yours should connect in Japan, depending on your location and the networks that are available to you in your location in that country.
There are three things you need to check:
1) That your phone is enabled for international mobile roaming
2) That your phone is set to the correct band/frequency for the the country you are in.
3) That your phone is set to Automatically select a provider to connect to any available provider in your area.
If you are uncertain which band to use, set your mobile phone to automatically select a provider and move to a good location where you know other phones have coverage.
If you are not successful with the current freqency/band, then change bands until you are succesful.
Japan has been using 3G technology for a long time, but any GSM equipped phone should work in Japan. That is quite odd, your phone is a triband and should not have any problems using the GSM network in Japan. Are you trying to use your American carrier? perhaps they do not have a roaming agreement with the region you are in. Try using a SIM card from Japan (assuming your phone is unlocked)

That would depend on who your service carrier is, I have had a lot of luck with LG through Verizon. Not a trac phone!! I had problems with a samsung phone with Cingular, I have an LG now with Alltel and have better coverage. This is more of a guessing game than you might think.

Having a carrier would help out alot on this particular question; unless you%26#39;re going after a phone like the RAZR, each carrier will have their own variety of phones which makes an exact make/model difficult to point out.
Assuming that you maybe haven%26#39;t picked a carrier, and that you%26#39;re in the US, AT%26T has the Samsung D807 (slide, 1.3MP camera w/ video, able to transfer music w/ a MicroSD card and USB cable)...for Verizon, the Samsung u740 has a dual-flip to allow QWERTY-like keyboard use, music capable if I%26#39;m reading correctly, and video camer capability. For T-Mobile, the Samsung t629 looks to fit those needs as well.
Not to sound like I%26#39;m promoting Samsung or anything, but they do seem to have the more unique form factors lately, with the features that you%26#39;re looking for as well. Unless you want to go with a PDA, those are going to probably be about the best bet. almost all carriers have a "pocket PC" which has EVERY detail you need!!

razr from cingular they are amazing! i extremely reccomend virgin mobile. only 18 cent a minute and they have mp3 and camera phones for less than 99.99 stay away from motorola. they suck. batteries never last long enough. i recommend LG I%26#39;d recommend the LG VX8300. I got it when I switched over to Verizon and I have not had a single problem with it. The speaker phone is great, I%26#39;ve not had a single dropped call yet, and over all it%26#39;s fairly simple to use. used razr off of craigslist..50-80 bucks
and what i said about the sidekick is not right i have an unlocked sidekick3 that i use with cingular and Ive tried it with my aunts rogers service you should leave questions like that to someone that knows t-mobile wouldn%26#39;t be able to tell you any info on it because you have to download a program and use a usb cable and change the system settings on it..

well i just bought the n95 and it takes the micro sd card... really good phone. N95 only takes MicroSD / TransFlash. I think it only takes a mircocard. i think you can have a sony ericsson 900i which is very good, or motorola new models, they are slim n handy, but remember that nokia phones are always the best, for their features, their respond and high customer satisfaction. samsung is also nice, i know many people who use the handsets of new samsung relases and are quite happy with the experience. you can log on to the sites of each brand and see the latest mobiles, their features and choose one according to your own taste. most probably the prices would also be there. it would really work out. i.e visit the site of motorola and see whats new there? i love my Motorola Razr...i can put my own ringtones and wallpaper on it, it has a speaker phone and bluetooth (love the bluetooth), come in cool colors, and is a nice size. On the cingular website there is a graph of what your signal would be like depending on where you are in chicagoland. if you type in Chicago and then zoom out a bit you can see that Chicago is in the dark to medium orange which is the best cingular or the new AT%26T (same thing). the reason i say so is because i live in the chicagoland area and i get a signal everywhere i go. Also my dad goes to the east coast like Pennsylvania or other new england states and never a dropped call. He even goes to norther Cali and no dropped calls.
They also support all the cool new phones that come out. either cingular or cingular it%26#39;s rated the best by less dropped calls plus that%26#39;s why the makers of the Iphone are hooking up with Cingular named the best cell phone company cingular, verizon wireless, or t-mobile...

i personally like their older phones these new ones seem to be all about style more than function and the old ones didnt really have as many things locked on it like the mp3 ect ect now to get songs on your phone for no cost you have to have the exact type and the size of it has to be big enough to save the memory on your phone OR you can pay for vcast music ect ect on the new ones and pay a pretty penny for every thing but i personally miss the motorola e815, the lg v phone, the samsung 970, on the up side i love how the new razor maxx looks that is a sick looking phone much better than any razor but like i said theres alot of strings attached and you have to be a techy to be able to get past the red tape verizon puts between you and the free stuff you can use, witch is why i love my motorola Q because it dosnt depend on none of the verizon soft ware besides for games and such but i can transfer screen savers, movies, music, make my own ring tones and much more from my smart phone so that was my way around it because windows and verizon and partnered :D I am not sure if Verizon has it, I think they all do. But I like the razor and you can usually find a face plate that you REALLY like for it. They are one of the newer phones. I always like the newer phones cause they always have the new gadgets like the camera and speakerphone and stuff like that in it.

The only restrictions I know of have to do with international roaming. Some carriers do not allow you to use the phone out of the country if it is a PAY AS YOU GO. If you have a contract phone some providers require you to be a customer for a certain period of time before allowing the international roaming feature to be placed on your phone.
There is one other I could think of. With the PAY AS YOU GO phone Motorola C139, internet is not available with Cingular/ATT

Are you using the internet at all? If you are and you do not have a plan for it then it charges you everytime you use it. I have sprint and that happened to me. But i did not know that it charges everytime you use it if you do not have unlimited web access. Unlike Sprint, Cingular has very good customer service that can help you alot. I accidentally had a download for a ring tone website, and when I told them I had no clue, they took it off. So, my suggestion is to switch to Cingular.

Hi, If u want the present number with other network, you should ask orange for your pack code and give the same to the new network you are joining. You have to give a month%26#39;s notice to end the contract with orange. Call 150 from your orange phone. This call is free. When the contract finishes, you will continue to be on the pay monthly tariff. Your phone will work as normal when the contract finishes. If you want to continue with orange after your present contract, you can ask for a upgrade , where you may get a new phone and tariff, but will enter into contract again.

Well, If you are moving across country and when you are all settled and get a land line your best bet is a prepaid phone because if you sign a contract you have to keep the contract for 1-2 years or pay a hefty fee to cancel it. If you are intending to keep the cell phone when you are settled in then sign up for a plan. Verizon is a good company for either one of those. I never have a dropped call and always have reception. Even at 1 bar you still have a clear call. well. make sure its a nationwide brand. (for example florida just made metro pcs.. which is not located everywhere)
once you move... call a local phone company (ie brighthouse.. bellsouth.. etc) and theyll explain the landlines.

Oh, that%26#39;s pretty easy. The miami ink stuff is ONLY with the service tmobile. However, there is one other option if you are not with tmobile. You can also buy a snap on cover. (which covers up the front. Or you can get a housing. (which is something that snaps on) But remember if your with the tmobile service, make sure it is an unlocked gsm phone. I am happy to stay with o2 but would like an upgrade of my phone and a possible reduction in my line rental. o2 wanted ￡300 for the n95 on my ￡20 contract. it was free if i had a ￡50 contract.
i chose the online texter 25 contract at ￡25 a month with 250 cross network any time minutes and 500 texts free a month. got that with a free k800i. not too bad i suppose. N73 ￡20 a month. If they wount give u what u want ask for your PAC code. This code releases your number for 1 month if u decided to go to another provider. Onced u ask for it O2 will do anything to keep ur business. Tell them another provider is doing a better deal with the nokia n95 and that O2 are too expensive. They will bend over backwards to keep u.
I know this as i upgraded last month doing the same thing. go on 3 network and go on contract and its cashback meaning all ur 30 quid bad or woteva the ammount u choose then a month before ur mobile phone contract is about to end phone them up asking them to cancel it and give a name like o2 giving u a better deal like 30quid and somet u like and that u dnt like the 3 networks service and say your not interested then get another phone again wid dem and save a lot of money but u have to pay for the last month on evry contact so ur only spending 30 quid and keeping the phone and stuff free

there is typically an option to have a person blocked from calling you. Sometimes, this is built into the phone, but other times the carrier can block a number for you.
If someone is harassing you though, they will start to call from other numbers. You might have to get your phone number changed. you should be able to have their number blocked. Call your carrier and ask them if they have this feature and tell them what number you want to block. Jess B is correct! Block them! give them a personal ringtone of silentness. then u wont hear them ringing u I believe you can have peoples numbers bloked, although I dont no if this costs of what you have to do to go through this, ring your network. Keep in mind they can easily use another phone to call you. can you not ring your networks customer support and bar the number thats calling you? im sure you will be able to? Some operators will only block your number if you have a police criminal referance number.

They may not take any action but try and obtain a crime reference number that you can give to your operator. some mobiles can block a number. If the calls or texts are bad, report it to the cops, and take a diary of events. Then you can prosecute them. Well personally i would answer it and not speak-put the phone down and walk away and let them run up their bill a few times!! They will soon get fed up. Ring your provider and get the number blocked.

For best looking results your wallpaper images should be resized or cropped to the size of your phone%26#39;s screen in pixels.
The W370 has a screen size of 128 X 160 pixels (that%26#39;s width then height) so your wallpapers should be this size. Any smaller and they won%26#39;t fill up the screen or lose quality when stretched out, and bigger sizes will either not fit the whole picture or downsize it, also disrupting the quality. I realize that images of size of more than 1Mb can cause trouble when displaying on cellphone. %26#39;Not enough memory%26#39; says the error.
So choose wallpapers less than 1Mb and a 800x600 resolution will do fine. go to phonescoop.com and look up ur phone. it will show all ur phone specs like screen res. if ur res is 176x220 use that size for ur screensaver. same goes if its another res

I can get all my techno on my phone with low memory. Best choice to download anything in my life was all that. Personally I love the Env, I can choose to text when the phone is closed or open, and you can quickly and easily change text modes (i.e. numbers to symbols to words) with a quick push of a button. What Samsung model of phone are you thinking about getting... if you post that, it could help everyone make a better call as to what would function the best. well i have the env n i like it. i can txt a lot faster n it has stero speakers. i thoug ht buttons on the u740 were 2 confusing i say the env. even though they are about the same but u will the env better i would say the enV orange it so frekin cool, i can text both ways closed/open, it has better keys, i can text easier and faster...

maybe you are the one warped? Maybe your looking at the arrows backwards. That would make it real tough for you to find the receipt. if you call it, you might hear it ringing, thats what I do...good luck !

7am i know becuz i am a sprint customer What to mean i got sprint and i got free night and weekends starting at 7 and i dont seem to have trouble.. i think it ends around 5 A.M. but im not sure. it depends on which plan you have some come standard at either 7pm-7am some are from 8pm - 8am but you can upgrade and pay a little bit more and get nights starting at 6pm so you need to check which plan you have to find out when your night calling starts

I have this really screwed up Razr that I got... it was two problems.
1. The camera is messed up (it%26#39;s like night vision [green and black]).
2. I can%26#39;t charge the battery with the charger, I have to put the battery in my dad%26#39;s Razr and charge it there and then put it back on my phone.
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Or does anyone know any phone repair shop where I can go fix it? I live in Atlanta, Georgia by the way.

Your phone will either save them in 2 different file types: mp3, midi.
The point doesnt really matter unless your using a program like Bitpim (its free, check it out) and a usb cable or a bluetooth connection to actually connect your computer to the cell phone.
1. Put all your ringtones in a folder
2. Open folder, go to tools, then folder options, and then view
3. Make sure the "Hide extensions for known file types" is UNCHECKED!!
4. Rename all your mp3 files to .mid files (you will get a windows error message, but dont worry about it)
5. You upload them to Axcess Pics on the Alltel website. You have to create an account but it%26#39;s free. Then you can send them to your phone from the website.
6. Send to phone
7. Save
8. Set as
One note. When you edit down your mp3%26#39;s use a free program off the internet theres tons. And try to keep the size under 300k.

it depends on how much memory on the memory card you bought. are you trying to put MP3? if so, 2 GB will hold up to 400 songs. it must be a Micro SD card by the way. any brand would do. ummm minutes on a memory card? not sure who your service provider is but are you planing to have MP3s on the phone? your question is alittle confusing but you might wanna do a quick check on www.phonescoop.com and search your phone. it will give you the specs and make sure you get the right card.
how new is your phone? music wise a memory card will give you around the same space as having a regular MP3 player. so say you get a 512 MB card (thinking you might need a mirco SD card which is standard on most phones these days) and put just music on it you can get about 100-120 songs depending on size of songs and what format they are in. hope that helps

Go get the "Shine from LG", I just got one and it%26#39;s very cool and has camera, and all kinds of goodies. And looks great.
Besides, a friend got a beta version of the iPhone, and it is extremely delicate, complex and expensive. I did not like it, and only comes from one provider.. Hope it Helps. Vibrate or ring? Why?
I dropped my phone in water and since then it hasnt been able to hold a charge for long. Once person tells me that keeping it on vibrate will keep the charge longer, when another tells me keeping it on ring will do so.

Lots of phones have options to adjust the power settings to save battery power and extend the time between charges, read the manual for your phone and see if there are adjustments you can make to your phone to extend the battery life. It would help to know what model of phone you own but setting the lighting on the screen to turn off at the shortest allowable period will save your battery lots also reducing the brightness of the screen will help and turning the volume of ringtones down as well.Check to see if your phone lets you set the phone to go into standby mode at a short period also. Usually talking on the phone will use the battery much faster than a ringtone or vibrate will use it and using the internet, watching videos, playing music or listening to the radio on it will use the battery even faster. I suspect that ringing or vibrating would use fairly equivalent amounts of power on most phones so I would be looking at display settings and avoiding high drain usage to try to extend the battery life if I was in your position. ring will keep it longer. vibrate pulls more from the battery. u should also try changing the setings on ya phone dealin with the length of the backlight and screensavers

I think the feature I am most interested in is GPS. My friend has a RAZR with GPS and directions and I really like this functionality (I get lost a lot).

If you are only looking for GPS- which does cost a monthly fee of $9.99, or a daily fee of $2.99- and good battery life- the LG vx8300 is a cheap and reliable phone.
You can also look into the Razr, depending on if you like the feel of the phone- also the G%26#39;zOne Type-S is a waterproof/shockproof phone built for the army and has the gps service as well. even though you dont care about texting and all that... there%26#39;s this one phone for verizon i got... it%26#39;s verison SCH-u740 or something... anyway, it opens both ways (like a regular phone and then like a sidekick (kind of))... it%26#39;s $100. but it%26#39;s fun to flash around!

There are two world phones that are not widely advertized. They are the ONLY Verizon phones that can accept a sim card. I%26#39;m not sure of the models, BUT you will not be able to use the sim from them in the phone you are trying to use with Verizon. Verizon%26#39;s service here is CDMA. The GSM part of the phones that actually do have a sim only works when it is used overseas where there is only GSM. You can%26#39;t use a non-Verizon phone with Verizon. They not only CAN%26#39;T activate it, but even if they could, they will NOT activate it. It%26#39;s time to get over trying to use the other phone with Verizon. It%26#39;s not going to to happen. You%26#39;ll have to switch to a GSM carrier in order to use it. verizon doesnt use sim cards. plain and simple
