I%26#39;m not. I already have a good phone and a 30GB iPod. I spent less than the lowest asking price for the iPhone for both. Why anyone would spend $499 or $599 for an iPhone is beyond me. My phone(Samsung t629) was $99.99 and I bought my 30GB iPod after the price drop and it was $248.44 at Walmart. So I paid $348.43 before taxes, and have a good phone and an iPod with MUCH more storage than both iPhones. Why would I want to waste $500+ on a phone with only 4GB of space? yes No way!! They%26#39;re like, 500-600 $! Its cool but i don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s worth it. As technology progresses, things change and get better. So I bet the iphone will be yesterdays talk in. a year or so. And I bet something better will replace it. I am gonna wait till they sell something that i need. No. The iPhone is just a basic phone that looks like an iPod and can play music. It is also powered by one of the worst networks in America...Cingular (AT%26T). I prefer Verizon Wireless...no they dont have an iPhone yet but they will be coming out with one in mid december of this year. It will also be cheaper...only 199.00 with a 75.00 rebate! Also, I would rather have a network that has good call queality and a large coverage area than have a network without it...i love my enV and it can do just as much as the iPhone...except a little more! Nope - most phones have MP3 capability these days so quite what the iPhone is going to bring to the market that isn%26#39;t available already I don%26#39;t know. Most operators have their own portal which sells music and the iPhone is going to compete with them, personally I just load MP3s onto the memory card for my phone and listen to them when I want. lol no i dont need one. but i might get it when they can give it to you for free or w/ rebates or something on a new 2 year plan. Maybe, If the $600 goes to $350. NO. its too expensive it%26#39;s like $500-600. i dont think i would waste that much money on just a phone and a phone cant do that much for u exept help u connect with people around you. i will insist on one as a free upgrade, or i go elsewhere and get it. I would like to purchase the iPhone when it comes out but i dont have a lot of money to spend it on mobile phones. I am happy with my Samsung D600 which is also a really good phone. iPhone is overrated. if you want a touchscreen music player, with internat and the ability to call people get sony E%26#39;s w960 wen it comes out. at the moment close rivals to iPhone are samsung%26#39;s f700 and HTC%26#39;s touch no,basically its an ipod with a bad phone.
