Ok a year ago I found a cell phone and just now I decided to activated as pre=paid,but one problem,the place told me it couldn%26#39;t be activated because the phone has something thats on it and they did try but I claimed the phone was mine.I didnt tell them that I had found it,so Please help me! What can I do to activate this phone as pre-paid and the phone is from verizon wireless.

Sorry, but you can%26#39;t activate that phone at all. The REAL owner called it in as lost or stolen, and the phone is now blocked. The only way to clear the ESN number(the number used to activate it) is if the original owner releases it, and by that, I mean the original owner has to call in to release it. Since that won%26#39;t happen, that phone is permanently blocked. go to Verizon, tell them you want your equipment activated as Pre-pay. They should be able to unless the phone is on a stolen list in which the serial number cant be activated. Next time find a Cingular phone, it is so much easier. he he
