Verizon and Sprint. Verizon is more expensive, but verizon has better phone then Sprint It really depends on the area. If you%26#39;re talking for cheap plans, probably T-mobile. If you want coverage in basements in my city, then Cingular. Cingular has the best coverage.
Verizon flat out sux I feel that Verizon is the best. They have the best customer service and the best phones. Well my Verizon phone worked in the Mojave desert where my Dad%26#39;s Nextel and friend%26#39;s cingular phone had no service. I would rather pay a few extra bucks each month than have no service when I needed it most. Verizon- expensive but very reliable, has excellent coverage in metros and great internet speeds. Great for business (and pda, smart phones).
con- no sim card which means no unlocking or changing phones.
Cingular- popular in south/west and great plans but a bit pricy. Nice phones (iphone).
Tmobile- really inexpensive, good phones (sidekick).
con- bad coverage. In some areas (basement, some department stores) there is poor reception.
Overall its where you live and how much are you willing to pay for service and coverage. cingular is the best verizon sucks, my boyfriend has verizon and after using his phone a couple of times i understand the comercial with the guy saying "can you hear me now?" the service cuts out so much you have to say it as you move around looking for better reception. Verizon, by far.
I had them off and on for a few years (my cell is issued by my job).
