They have heaps of software for phones and PDAs etc there,(most of it is even free) you can even search by model to find software that is compatible with your device. You need the PDA smart phone plan that your company offers. Usually 430-$50 a month for the internet.
For videos you need V-cast offered by Verizon and what ever the competition calls its plan to watch videos. This is also about $15 a month or so.
